Crossing Clunes

Last Year I went across to Clunes for BOOKTOWN and the opening of a photographic exhibition by William Yang and Korean photographer Boonchang Koo. I was a little early for the official launch of the show, so I went for a wander around town. It was Autumn, and as I walked up the Service Street hill I was taken by the amount of leaf litter that filled the wide gutters flanking the roadway. At each property there was a crossing that spanned the culvert and each had its own distinct personality thanks to its method of construction and its accumulation of Autumnal detritus
